Streamlining for Success: Consolidating Under the Yobah Brand

So, it's been a while since I put pen to paper (well, finger tips to keyboard), so I thought I would drop some of my thoughts and make an announcement in this post. It is always good to share where things are and my future plans. One of my new years resolutions (do people still do these?), was to be more open on my business ventures. So here I go. 

It's been a very busy year, both personally and professionally, with a several exciting challenges and projects covered. Whether it was working with a partner organisation to help bring one of their customers back from a cyber security incident, to developing an extensive Modern Workplace strategy for a global law firm - there hasn't been much time to focus and keep everyone up to date with a few changes. 

Streamlining for Success

For those of you that follow me on LinkedIn will know I have launched various brands that cover my consulting services - from Elemensis for strategic consulting to TameYourCloud, my content and training business, it became somewhat confusing for both myself and customers. I often found myself conflicted on where to post my content, who to bid as and most importantly, where to focus my efforts on following my dream, to build out a premier and exciting consulting firm, that truly delivers value to organisations across the UK. 

Delivering consulting engagements took the majority of my time, while business development and social activities took a back seat. I'd try to write a weekly newsletter, deliver a digital course, run webinars, all while working with the team to build out Yobah - and if i'm honest, I took on too much. It often meant I would start, get half way through and not actually deliver. 

So, with that in mind, and after some considerable thought, I have decided to consolidate all my businesses and brands under the Yobah umbrella. This will hopefully remove confusion, make marketing significantly easier, and help me and the team provide a better service to our customers, partners and followers. 

Planning Ahead

So with all that in mind, what does the future look like? As a starter for ten, it will look something like the following:

  1. 1. I will shutdown TameYourCloud.com, and migrate the various pieces of content into the Yobah Resource Hub.
  2. 2. Re-launch the TameYourCloud newsletter and merge it with Yobahs. - Don't worry, if you are signed up on TameYourCloud and no longer want to subscribe, i''ll drop details on how to do it :)
  3. 3. My independent consulting efforts will move over to Yobah, aligning with the principles of the great team we have to deliver. This will give you access to the great processes, frameworks, content and team we have built up. 
  4. 4. Building in the open - I am going to aim to be more open on the process of building Yobah and the work we do - so be ready for more content. 
  5. 5. Network, network and network - Myself and the team will be out and about at various network events over the next year - so watch out on our various social channels to see what we are up to!

I'm looking forward for the coming year, and there is a lot of  exciting news, content and projects in the pipeline that I can't wait to share with you. Keep an eye on our blog over the coming weeks for some more announcements on some of the details to what has been going on and some of the great wins and interesting changes that have take place.
