It’s been a busy few weeks here at Yobah, but what have we been up to!
A New Home and New Team Member
Last month saw us move into our brand new hub in central Manchester, we’re now based out of Bruntwood Works in Centurion House, right in the middle of the city. We’re all settled in now and enjoying our new home, We also welcomed our new starter James last month who started with us as Platform Engineer bringing our team total to six!
Out and About
Alex and Darren have been making the most of our pro-manchester membership attending their FinTech Lunch which celebrates the successes of the sector across the region speakers included author and crypto guru, Erica Stanford, Kimberley Waldron, Managing Director of international communications agency SkyParlour, Susan Hall, partner in the Intellectual Property team at Clarke Willmott, Julian Wells, director of WhiteCap Consulting, Mark Robinson, Sales Director at Verlingue. Amar Kotak Head of Partnerships at Integrated Finance, Nicola Weedall Co-Founder of Hydr and Ruth Spratt, Senior Director and UK Country Manager at Zip. It was great to hear headline topics in FinTech explored further and we made some good connections too – in-person networking is definitely back with a bang!
Team Time
We put our new hub to good use with our first Team Day! bringing together our newly grown team for the first time. We spent the day working together, planning and sharing ideas, it was fantastic to see everyone in person and we’ve put some exciting plans in place. We also had a fantastic team lunch and there may have been a few beers too!
New Products
This month also saw the launch of our Tech As A Service product, our subscription model standardises hardware, operating systems and services across your business, ensuring up-to-date and well-maintained hardware and software solutions at an affordable cost, creating savings of up to 20% on the ownership cost of your tech.
And we’ve also enjoyed fantastic Jubilee weekends with our families, celebrated two Yobah birthdays and had a couple of holidays in the team as well!
