It’s that time of year again when we take a moment to reflect and take a little look back on all that has gone before.
And what a year it has been, casting our minds back to this time twelve months ago and it seems like another world frankly, we were about to enter a third lockdown and now? well it just all seems so long ago, doesn’t it? We’re delighted to say that normal service has really resumed in every sense and it’s been an excellent year for Yobah.
We’ve grown our team with two crucial hires in Business Development and our Tech team and both Alex and James have fitted into the team really well and contributed a massive amount in a short time. It’s fantastic to be able to get the Yobah name out and about and Alex has been busy attending events in Manchester and beyond meaning, we’ve got to know a whole host of new people and welcomed some new clients during 2022! Meanwhile, James has been working alongside us on projects for our clients and really supporting our Yobah ethos of ensuring we always have the right skills for the job. We won’t be stopping there either in 2023 we’ve plans to extend our internal team further whilst also continuing to invest in the expertise of our broad network of associates.
This year also saw us take some of the Yobah ways of working and make them official for our growing team, this included ‘ Work Where You’re Happy‘ which allows our team to work across the UK, remotely, hybrid, in our central Manchester hub or a combination of all three, it’s truly a great thing to be able to offer so much flexibility to our team and BDM Alex Jenner shared his view on that in this blog. We’ve also invested in systems and relationships with external partners all designed to help our business growth continue and we’ve had an extensive year of training with tons of exams passed across the team!
And finally, there’s been no rest on the home front as two of the team added to their broods in 2023 with the arrivals of Isobel and Beatrice and we’ll be welcoming another new arrival in 2023 bringing our total of little Yobahs to eleven! So we are investing in the future too!
